The Mission
Through coaching, training and presentation sessions, Sky & Clay aims to empower people grow with confidence, curiosity and self-belief. We support individuals and teams to explore their own paths, embrace imperfection and invest in futures that feel meaningful. Growth isn’t about performing a polished version of yourself, it’s about discovering what you’re capable of, shaping it over time and taking ownership of the changes you want to make.
The Ethos
Ok, it's time I came clean about something: I've got a Theatre Degree. That's why everything we do is rooted in experimentation and play. We create spaces that welcome collaboration, co-creation and honest conversation. Whether we’re working with one person or a roomful of colleagues, our work promotes genuine growth through a combination of reflection, imagination and personal responsibility. The work is often hands-on and sometimes even a little messy, but it always prioritises the human beings involved.
The Name
In a coaching context, clay is maluable and versatile. It can be smoothed, tweaked and altered almost endlessly. It's often imperfect, unique and carries the marks and influences of past experience. On the other extreme, if you so desire, it can be squashed right down and completely reshaped. Even clay that's been air drying can be broken down, mixed with water and brough back to life. The work is messy, creative, frustrating, inspiring and- we hope- fun. The Clay in our name reminds us all that we are imperfect works in progress, and keeps us grounded.
With both feet on the ground, we look upwards to the Sky. The vast open blue (or grey) is a symbol of optimism, boundlessness and exploration. The imagery of the sky reminds the realists among us to dream big and aim high.

Sky & Clay holds both truths at once: the grounding that comes from knowing yourself, and the freedom to grow into something new.
The Clay Folk
Meet Simon and Gus- our team mascots. If you're a regular viewer of our Instagram reels, you'll know that these two are (like the rest of us) curious, imperfect and always eager to learn something new. They're great listeners, and askers of profound questions. They even drop in to training from time to time to help to illustrate a point.
